Fig. 6. After establishing the rat hypoxic model, SD rats were fed under normoxic conditions (Control) or in a decompression chamber equal to 5,000 m above sea level (Hypoxia) for 8 weeks. After the approval of the Medical Ethics Committee of the Army Medical University, SD rats were euthanized, and the periodontal tissues were removed. (A) HIF-1α, VEGF, and RUNX2 in periodontal tissues were visualized via immunofluorescence. Representative images of the control and hypoxic groups are shown. Scale bars = 200 μm.
